Favorite Race?

Post your favorite race, and why here.

Mine has gotta be Zerg.

Zerg is awesome because you can rush,

Protoss, cause of them void gays.

Gotta love them Void Gays...

You know you love the sight of the entire enemies base getting tazed to death by only 2 void gays.

Yeah.

Early game void gays are even worse.

I like the zerg because they play unlike the other two races. Specifically, their centralized and simultaneous unit production is much more efficient than the other two races. Sure, the buildings are more demanding in that they eat a drone, but buildings don't win matches. Units win matches, buildings lose them.

That, and I like the versatility in their scouting/maneuvering options. Creep, overlords, changlings, nydus worms... it makes for wonderful psychological warfare.

Also, they're cool. Kerrigan's redesign in SC2 not withstanding, they look and sound really neat. To this day, I remember the first thing the Overmind said to the player in episode II of the original Starcraft:

The Overmind wrote:Awaken my child, and embrace the glory that is your birthright! Know that I am the Overmind, the eternal will of the swarm, and that you have been created to serve me!"

If Tassadar could come back, I've still got hope that the Overmind will make its triumphant return to the land of the living. There's been a hole in the badassery-topography of the Starcraft universe since they killed it off.

I like Zerg cause they look awesome and from what i've heard about the game they seem awesome (i dont even have the game but want to get it)
